The Maitland Art Center - originally founded as an art colony
in the 1930s - -by artist Jules André Smith holds various
exhibitions, travel opportunities, classes, workshops and
membership and support opportunities and promotes knowledge
and education in American art and artists. The center continues
exhibiting its original work by housing resident artists and
by providing the community with a fine arts curriculum.
