Established in 1946, this is Ormond Beach's first art museum. Set in the 1920 vintage cottage the museum is placed amidst 4 acres tropical garden.
The museum has a very interesting as to how it all began. Credit goes to an accomplished Canadian painter and illustrator named Malcolm Fraser. He donated a gift of 56 paintings to the town of Ormond Beach. He nestled a special place in his heart for the city. The museum started with those 56 paintings themed as "Spirit Is Life's Only Significant Reality" and since then it has come a long way.
Today, the renovated galleries have changing exhibits that display the works by contemporary Florida artists, and house a large, permanent collection of works by the well-known Canadian artist Malcolm Fraser.
Another highlight of the museum is an ecological showcase of native plants and flowers including sago palms, Chinese fan palm, spider lilies, Hawaiian ginger lily, banana plants, bromeliads, American elm and bamboos.
A perfect environment for you to stroll on the cool pathways surrounded by lush tropical foliage and fine art.

Making a dry subject like Agriculture interesting is what Florida Agriculture Museum is famous for. Both kids as well as the grown ups enjoy exploring the world of farming and horticulture and touring through this cornucopia of 19th century farm machinery, turpentine and forestry tools, historic saddles, wagons, and more.
Making learning fun, people visiting the museum tour through the five recreated historical settings and also view the different plowing techniques used throughout the past few decades.
The farm in the museum is one of the favorites of the kids. Exhibiting various animals one gets to view them at a very close distance.
